Common use of Computation of Annual Incentive Payments Clause in Contracts

Computation of Annual Incentive Payments. The maximum possible number of hours subject to the Program’s annual incentive payments shall be equal to the number of illness leave hours actually earned by the bargaining unit member during the school year or 80 hours, whichever is less. This maximum of 80 hours is applicable to all assignment bases, including bases which earn more than 80 hours annually. Each hour of illness leave used at any time during that year, whether for illness, injury, or personal necessity, shall be subtracted from the above-stated maximum number of hours, and for each resulting unused hour of illness leave, the bargaining unit member will receive a payment equal to a percentage of the bargaining unit member’s actual hourly rate at the close of the school year or a percentage of $15.70 per hour, whichever is less. The percentage will vary according to the bargaining unit member’s career accrued illness hours as of the close of the school year as shown in the Attendance Incentive Payment Table.
