Condition for Responding to Authorized User Request for Quote. The Authorized User transaction is required to be competitive (see Attachment 1 – How to Use the Manufacturer Umbrella Contract for examples of Procurement Scenarios). Contractors are encouraged to identify multiple Resellers to participate in competitive transactions. In order for an Authorized User to solicit a single Contractor on an RFQ, that Contractor must have at least five (5) Resellers named on the Manufacturer’s Contract, and those Resellers must be eligible to quote statewide, independently and lower than Contract pricing for procurements under this Contract which meet their qualifying criteria.
