Conditions for Removal of Employee From University Premises. A discharged or disciplined employee who is not a probationary employee, upon the employee’s request, will be allowed to discuss the discharge or discipline with the chief xxxxxxx of the district in cases where the discharge or discipline would require the employee to leave the University premises. The University will make available an area where the employee may discuss the matter with the chief xxxxxxx before the employee is required to leave the property of the University. Upon the request of the disciplined employee or the chief xxxxxxx, the administrative head of the unit or that person's designated representative will arrange for a meeting to be held with the discharged or disciplined employee and that employee’s chief xxxxxxx. Exception may be made to this provision when immediate action is taken by the University to remove an employee from the premises in cases involving drunkenness, violence, stealing or willful destruction of property. The chief xxxxxxx will be notified of action taken in these cases.
