Conference Request Sample Clauses

Conference Request. Teachers wishing to attend professional meetings should make request to the building principal for attending the meeting at least one week before the meeting date(s). If the request is granted by the building principal and the superintendent, a teacher may attend the meeting without loss of pay or sick leave benefits. The workshop should normally be related to the current teaching or extra-curricular assignment. On a week’s prior notice and administrative approval, the teacher may be entitled to attend a professional workshop or a one day’s visit per school year for the purpose of visiting other schools, industry, or business related to the teaching assignment.

Conference Request. A teacher who is not satisfied with or who disagrees with comments or ratings within the evaluation may request a conference with the principal to discuss such issues within five (5) work days from receipt of the written evaluation. The principal will honor all such requests for a conference and will meet with the teacher within ten (10) work days of the request. Additionally or exclusively, a teacher who is not satisfied with or who disagrees with comments or ratings within the evaluation may make a written attachment of information, dissent, or explanation. Conference Request. The employee may have a conference with the Superintendent/Designee prior to the formal hearing. The employee shall request a conference and/or hearing by checking the appropriate box on the card or paper.   • Post-Observation Conference The teacher and evaluator shall schedule to meet for the post-observation conference as soon as reasonably possible after the formal observation, but not to exceed five school days. The post-observation conference includes a review of the teacher's self-assessment of the observation and the evaluator's evidence of the observation. Both the teacher and the evaluator may contribute evidence to the overall assessment of professional performance during the conference as such conference is intended to be a dialogue between the teacher and evaluator. At the end of the post- observation conference the teacher and evaluator will agree on next steps and sign documentation that the conference has occurred.

  • PRE-BID CONFERENCE Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022, @ 2:00 PM, located at W220 Pre-con Conference Room, 0000 Xxxxxxxxxxxxx Xxxxx (Xxxx Xxxxxxxxx) Xxxxxxx, XX 00000. Attendance is not mandatory but is encouraged.

  • Conference Attendance The Federation will be entitled to five (5) person days per year release time for designated Federation representatives to attend conferences. All conference expenses will be the responsibility of the Federation, unless funding is requested and approved through regular District processes for conference attendance.

  • Church Conference Vote At least two-thirds (2/3) of the professing members present at a church conference of the Local Church must vote to disaffiliate from The United Methodist Church “for reasons of conscience regarding a change in the requirements and provisions of the Book of Discipline related to the practice of homosexuality or the ordination or marriage of self-avowed practicing homosexuals as resolved and adopted by the 2019 General Conference, or the actions or inactions of its annual conference related to these issues which follow.” Local Church shall provide documentation, to the satisfaction of Annual Conference, which evidences the result of the disaffiliation vote taken at the church conference. Such documentation must be certified by an authorized officer of Local Church and shall be included as an Exhibit A to this Disaffiliation Agreement.

  • Conference Leave Upon written request, supported by a copy of an invitation, an employee shall be granted leave paid at full salary of up to two thirty-fifths of their Appointment Contract(s) to present papers at academic conferences. Such leave shall not be claimed if an authorized exchange of services agreeable to the employee can be arranged.

  • Evaluation Conference The final evaluation conference shall occur not later than the end of the fall term. The purpose of the final evaluation conference is to discuss with the probationary employee the results of the evaluation and announce the team’s recommendation. The evaluation team shall determine what additional evaluation activity shall occur during the spring term. If the team recommends that the District not employ the professor for the following year, no evaluation activities in the spring are necessary.

  • SPECIAL CONFERENCES Special conferences for important matters may be arranged between the Union and the designated representative of the Board upon the request of either party.
