Common use of Confidential Positions Clause in Contracts

Confidential Positions. Confidential assignments are those which employees, in the course of their duties, have access to confidential information relating to the City’s administration of employer- employee relations. Should the City determine to increase the number of confidential employees by removing them from the bargaining unit, the parties shall meet and confer at the Union’s request.
