Confidentiality in OIG Investigations. 1. The parties recognize the need for confidentiality during investigations of sensitive issues. 2. A copy of the statement of the employee will be routinely given to the employee. 3. When an employee becomes the subject of an investigation, the employee will be notified when such investigation is closed.
