Common use of Conflict Between Documents Clause in Contracts

Conflict Between Documents. In the event a conflict exists between this Agreement and any term in any exhibit attached or incorporated into this Agreement, the terms in this Agreement shall supersede the terms in such exhibit. In the event of a conflict between any of the Contract Documents, the following order of precedence shall apply: (1) change orders, (2) this Agreement, as may be amended, (3) special provisions, (4) general conditions, (5) design standards and specifications, including any addenda, (6) design documents, and (7) any other Contract Documents, with the more specific or stricter provision controlling.
