Common use of Conflict of Interest and Code of Conduct Clause in Contracts

Conflict of Interest and Code of Conduct. County may, in its sole discretion, by written notice to Contractor, terminate this Agreement if it is found, after due notice and examination by County or its agent that there is a violation of chapter 42.23 RCW, or any similar statute involving the Contractor in the procurement of, or performance of this Agreement. In the event this Agreement is terminated as provided above, County shall be entitled to pursue the same remedies against Contractor as it could pursue in the event of a breach of this Agreement by Contractor.
