Common use of CONFLICT OF INTERESTS; REPRESENTATIVES NOT INDIVIDUALLY Clause in Contracts

CONFLICT OF INTERESTS; REPRESENTATIVES NOT INDIVIDUALLY. LIABLE No official or employee of District shall participate in any decision relating to this Agreement which affects his or her personal interests or engage in any conduct or activity which may interfere with the official’s or employee’s full and proper discharge of his or her duties in the review, evaluation, award, implementation, monitoring and performance of contracts hereunder. No District employee, or any member of his or her immediate household, may acquire an interest in or operate any business or commercial enterprise which is in any way related, directly or indirectly, to the employee’s official duties, or which might otherwise be involved in an official action taken or recommended by the employee, or which is in any way related to matters over which the employee could wield any influence, official or otherwise. No official or employee of District shall be personally liable to Developer or any successor-in-interest in the event of any default or breach by District or for any amount which may become due to Developer or such successor-in-interest or on any obligations hereunder.
