CONFLICTS OF INTEREST AND FINANCIAL OR OTHER IRREGULARITIES. 17.1. The Grant Recipient must have and will keep in place formal procedures that require the Grant Recipient and its Representatives to declare any personal or financial interest in any matter concerning the Funded Activities and if a conflict of interest is identified the individual is to be excluded from any discussion or decision-making relating to the matter concerned.

The Grant Recipient must have and will keep in place formal adequate procedures to ensure that there is no actual or perceived bias or conflict. Such procedures will require the Grant Recipient and its Representatives to declare any personal or financial interest in any matter concerning the Funded Activities and if a conflict before the delivery of interest is identified the individual is to be excluded from any discussion or decision-making relating to the matter concernedeach Funded Activities.
