Common use of Consignment Clause in Contracts

Consignment. 17.1 If the Company holds Goods on consignment then: (a) the Supplier remains the owner of the Goods and the Company is only a bailee; (b) the Company is not obliged to store the Goods separately from any other goods; and (c) the Supplier must keep the Goods fully insured in accordance with clause 14. 17.2 In addition to the terms under clause 17.1, the parties may (but are not obliged to) enter into a fulsome consignment agreement to supplement or amend these terms.
