Common use of Construction and Building Construction Clause in Contracts

Construction and Building Construction. The normal work week shall be fifty (50) hours per week, plus service time when required, with not more than ten (10) production hours and up to one (1) service time hour being worked at straight time rates of pay between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with an interval of one half (1/2) hour for lunch. Work performed on Sundays and designated holidays shall be paid for at double (2x) the straight time rate of pay. All other overtime shall be paid for at one and one-half (1-½x) the straight time rate.
