CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT PROCUREMENT. 2.5.1 The Design Professional, following the Owner's approval of the Construction Documents and of the latest preliminary detailed estimate of Construction Cost, shall assist the Owner in procuring a construction contract for the Project through any procurement method that is legally applicable to the Project including without 2.5.2 If the construction contract amount for the Project exceeds the total construction cost of the Project as set forth in the approved Detailed Statement of Probable Construction Costs of the Project submitted by the Design Professional, then the Design Professional, at its sole cost and expense, will revise the Construction Documents as may be required by the Owner to reduce or modify the quantity or quality of the work so that the total construction cost of the Project will not exceed the total construction cost set forth in the approved Detailed Statement of Probable Construction Costs.
