Common use of Construction of Language Clause in Contracts

Construction of Language. Whenever in this Lease the context allows, the terms “Lease,” “Lease Term,” and “term of this Lease,” or terms of similar import, shall be deemed to include all renewals, extensions, or modifications of this Lease or the Lease Term. The word “including” when used in this Lease shall be deemed to mean “including, but not limited to,” or “including without limitation.” The headings of sections or subsections in this Lease are for convenience only and shall not be relevant for purposes of interpretation of this Lease. This Lease has been negotiated “at arm’s length” by Landlord and Tenant, each having the opportunity to be represented by legal counsel of its choice and to negotiate the form and substance of this Lease.
