Common use of Construction of New Schools Clause in Contracts

Construction of New Schools. a. When a new school is built to replace an existing school or causes an existing school to be closed, the new school shall be staffed by those members of the teaching staff of the school being closed who have a desire to teach at the new school providing there are sufficient positions available and provided they possess the qualifications necessary to meet the educational needs of the position. If any positions remain vacant they shall be posted and filled according to Article E.23 (Posting and Filling Vacant Positions).
