Common use of Construction of Words Clause in Contracts

Construction of Words. The language herein shall be construed, in all cases, according to its plain meaning and not for or against either party. The parties acknowledge that each party and its counsel have reviewed and revised this Agreement and that the rule of construction that states that any ambiguities are to be resolved against the drafting party shall not be employed in the interpretation of this Agreement.
