Common use of Consultant Not Agent Clause in Contracts

Consultant Not Agent. Except as Agency may specify in writing, Consultant shall have no authority, express or implied, to act on behalf of Agency in any capacity whatsoever as an agent. Consultant shall have no authority, express or implied, pursuant to this Agreement to bind Agency to any obligation whatsoever.

Consultant Not Agent. Except as Agency Manager may specify in writing, Consultant Consultant, and its agents, employees, subcontractors and subconsultants shall have no authority, express expressed or implied, to act on behalf of Successor Agency in any capacity whatsoever capacity, as an agent. Consultant shall have no authorityagents or otherwise, express or implied, pursuant to this Agreement to bind Successor Agency to any obligation whatsoeverobligation.
