Common use of Consultants’ Services Provided by Individuals Clause in Contracts

Consultants’ Services Provided by Individuals. (a) The prior review procedures set forth in paragraphs 2, 3 and 4 of Appendix 1 to the Consultant Guidelines shall apply to each contract for consultants’ services provided by an individual estimated to cost the equivalent of $50,000 or more. (b) The following prior review procedures shall apply to each contract for consultants’ services provided by an individual to be procured on the basis of single source selection: (i) the qualifications, experience, terms of reference and conditions of employment of the consultants shall be furnished to the Bank for its prior review and approval; (ii) the contract shall be awarded only after the Bank’s approval shall have been given; and (iii) the provisions of paragraph 3 of Appendix 1 to the Consultant Guidelines shall apply to the contract.
