Consultations and Exchange of Information. 1. The Parties agree to consult promptly, on the request of either, to resolve any disputes in connection with the Treaty, or to discuss any matter relating to the interpretation or application of the Treaty, including any matter relating to the laws, regulations, administrative practices, adjudicatory decisions, or policies of one Party that pertain or affect investments of the other Party. 2. If one Party requests in writing that the other Party supply information in its possession concerning investments in its territory by nationals or companies of the Party making the request, then the other Party shall, consistent with its applicable laws and regulations and with regard for business confidentiality, endeavor to establish appropriate procedures and arrangements for the provision of any such information.
