Common use of Contact Authority Clause in Contracts

Contact Authority. The Cooperator’s Project Manager is authorized to affirm the invoice certification required by this Agreement. The District’s Contract Manager is authorized to approve requests to extend a Project task deadline or to adjust a line item amount of the Project Budget. The District’s Contract Manager is not authorized to approve any time extension that will extend a Project task beyond the expiration date of this Agreement or which will result in a change to the total project cost or the parties’ funding shares as identified in the CFI Project Agreement. Changes authorized by this Paragraph do not require a formal written amendment but must be in writing and signed in accordance with each party’s signature authority.
