LEGAL AUTHORITY. The Contractor warrants and assures H-GAC that it possesses adequate legal authority to enter into this Agreement. The Contractor's governing body, where applicable, has authorized the signatory official(s) to enter into this Agreement and bind the Contractor to the terms of this Agreement and any subsequent amendments hereto.
LEGAL AUTHORITY. This Contract is authorized by and in compliance with Chapter 531 of the Texas Government Code.

Each party represents and warrants that the execution and delivery of this Agreement and the consummation of the transactions contemplated herein have been duly authorized by all necessary corporate, partnership or trust action, as applicable, by such party, and, when so executed and delivered, this Agreement will be the valid and binding obligation of such party enforceable in accordance with its terms.
LEGAL AUTHORITY. This Contract is authorized by and in compliance with the provisions of the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant, 42 U.S.C. 300x-21, et seq., and Texas Government Code Chapters 531.039.
