Common use of Contingency-Village Clause in Contracts

Contingency-Village. The Village’s obligation under this Agreement is contingent upon the Village’s review and execution of a lease between the Village and the MFLL involving the approximately 42.702 acres of the Mill Road Property currently occupied by the MFLL. (The “MFLL Lease”). The MFLL Lease must be negotiated by the Village and the MFLL prior to the Closing. If the Village and the MFLL have not entered into a MFLL Lease, the Village, may, by written notice to the School District, given prior to the Closing, declare this Agreement null and void and neither Party shall have any further obligations to the other under this Agreement.
