Common use of Continuation of Longevity Steps Clause in Contracts

Continuation of Longevity Steps. 8.4.3.1 Longevity steps shall depend on continued evaluations of satisfactory or above. For any year in which the evaluation is not satisfactory or better, that year shall not be credited toward the next longevity step. 8.4.3.2 When an employee receives a promotion or reclassification, the employee shall retain a longevity step as earned in the previous classification.
