Common use of Continuation of Service Clause in Contracts

Continuation of Service. Nothing contained in this Plan (or in Award Documents or in any other documents related to this Plan or to Awards granted hereunder) shall confer upon any Eligible Person or Recipient any right to continue in the Service of the Company or its Related Corporations or constitute any contract or agreement of employment or engagement, or interfere in any way with the right of the Company or its Related Corporations to reduce such person’s compensation or other benefits or to terminate the Service of such Eligible Person or Recipient, with or without cause. Except as expressly provided in the Plan or in any Award Document, the Company shall have the right to deal with each Recipient in the same manner as if the Plan and any Award Document did not exist, including, without limitation, with respect to all matters related to the hiring, discharge, compensation and conditions of the employment or engagement of the Recipient.
