Continuing Tenure. All prevailing continuing tenure for members of the Union shall be continued in effect irrespective of any provisions of this Contract. While "tenure status" will not be afforded by our Contract to other persons in the unit, Xxxxx Xxx will continue to be given all the benefits of tenure status during the course of their employment with the University.
