Common use of CONTRACT OPERATION Clause in Contracts

CONTRACT OPERATION. A. If any article or section of this Contract should be held invalid by operation of law or by any court of competent jurisdiction, or if compliance with or enforcement of any article or section should be restrained by a court pending a final determination of validity, the remainder of this Contract will not be affected thereby. In the event any article or section has been held invalid as set forth above, the parties will enter into immediate collective bargaining negotiations for the purpose of arriving at a mutually satisfactory replacement for such article or section. If the parties cannot reach agreement, either party may initiate the "Disagreement" provisions of Article 24.
