Shift Operation. When a three (3) shift operation is established by the Employer, the following conditions will apply: Those employees working on the day shift shall work eight (8) hours at the straight time rate. Those employees working on the afternoon shift shall work seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours per shift. A shift differential of one-seventh (1/7) shall be paid for all normal scheduled shift hours worked. Those employees working on the night shift shall work seven (7) hours per shift. A shift differential of one-fifth (1/5) shall be paid for all normal scheduled shift hours worked.
Shift Operation. (a) It is recognized that the Site operates twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week and three hundred and sixty-five (365) days per year. It follows, that staffing will be required on all three (3) shifts days, evenings and nights. To ensure an appropriate efficient staffing pattern as determined by the Employer it may be required that Employees work on any or all of the three (3) shifts.
(b) The first shift of the working day shall be the one wherein the majority of hours worked falls between twenty-four hundred (2400) and zero eight hundred (0800) hours.

Shift Operation. The weekly hours of work shall consist of forty (40) hours for all employees of Employers covered by this agreement and working on a one (1) or two (2) shift operation.

If an employee is removed from their scheduled shift prior to completing four (4) consecutive shifts, the employee will be paid shift differential for the remainder of the hours that would have been worked had the employee not been reassigned. It may be necessary from time to time to vary the hours of work established in this Article. Any amendments to the hours of work will be established by mutual agreement between EPSCA and the Union. Shift differential will not be paid on overtime hours.
Shift Operation. The first shift employee will arrive at his work station 5 to10 minutes prior to the official shift start time, in order to start the equipment and/or gather information. The first and second shift employees will meet at the work station 5 to10 minutes prior to the end of the outgoing employee’s shift, in order to exchange information with respect to the operation of the equipment, production schedules, problems etc. Equipment will continue to be run during this period and following the exchange, the outgoing employee may punch out and leave the facility. The second shift employee will perform the normal job duties of the classification until the cleanup/washup period commences.
