Common use of Contractor Change Notice Directives Clause in Contracts

Contractor Change Notice Directives. Contractor may, without notice to sureties, by written directive (“Change Notice”), denominated as such, signed by the Contractor’s Representative, unilaterally make any change to the Subcontract Work described in the Contract Documents, including but not limited to changes: 1. in the drawings and specifications; 2. in the method, manner, or sequence of the Subcontract Work; 3. directing acceleration or deceleration in the performance of the Subcontract Work; 4. modifying the schedule of the Subcontract Work or Progress Schedule; and 5. adding to or deleting from the Subcontract Work. Upon receipt of a Change Notice, Subcontractor shall promptly proceed with the work reflected by the Change Notice in accordance with the directives of Contractor.
