Contractor Insurance Requirements. 6.2.1 The Contractor shall not commence any Work until it obtains all required insurance and furnishes satisfactory proof to the Owner. The Contractor shall not permit any Subcontractor to commence work on the Project until all bond and insurance requirements have been complied with by the Subcontractor. 6.2.2 Insurance coverage assuring the adequacy of the Contractor’s performance and warranty obligations shall be maintained for the full warranty period specified in Section 2.15.2 and any specific guarantee or warranty available by law.
