Contractor Responsible for Subcontractors. Contractor shall be fully responsible for all negligent acts and omissions of its Subcontractor and of persons directly or indirectly employed by them and of persons for whose negligent acts any of them may be liable to the same extent that it is responsible for the negligent acts and omissions of persons directly employed by it. Nothing in the Agreement shall create any contractual relationship between any Subcontractor and the County or any obligation on the part of the County to pay or to see to the payment of any monies due any Subcontractor, except as may otherwise be required by law.
