Authority for Contracting. 1.6.1 By executing this Contract, the Contractor represents that it has visited the site, familiarized itself with the local conditions under which the Work is to be performed, and correlated its observations with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The Contractor and each Subcontractor shall evaluate and satisfy themselves as to the conditions and limitations under which the Work is to be performed, including, without limitation:

Nothing contained in this contract shall create any contractual relation between the subcontractor and the City or between any subcontractors.

  • CONTRACTOR SUPERVISION Contractor shall provide competent supervision of personnel employed on the job Site, use of equipment, and quality of workmanship.

  • Contracting and Subcontracting The Union recognizes that the City has statutory and charter rights and obligations in contracting for matters relating to municipal operations. The right of contracting or subcontracting is vested in the City including the exercise of said contracting and subcontracting rights.

  • Responsibility for Subcontractors All requirements for the “Prime” contractor shall also apply to any and all subcontractors. It is the Prime Contractors’ responsibility to insure the compliance by the subcontractors. At all times the Prime Contractor remains liable to the Authority for the performance and compliance of his/her subcontractors.
