1.8.5 The contractor shall be responsible for instructing his/her employees in applicable safety measures. The contractor shall not permit placing of equipment in traffic lanes or other locations in such a manner as to create safety hazards. Contractor’s employees shall be required to interrupt their work at any time to allow passage of personnel. Contractor and contractor’s employees will be expected to provide contractor’s employees with proper personal protective equipment (hardhats, eye/ear protection, gloves, etc.) as working conditions or job sites require. Contractor must comply with all federal and state safety laws and regulations.
SITE SUPERVISION. It is the responsibility of your group to provide adequate adult (age 18 and over) supervision (1 adult per 8 children) for your group. FFI does not provide any supervisory staff during your stay. It is the responsibility of your group to have adequate medical care for your group. The pool is to be used At Your Own Risk. FFI does not provide a lifeguard. Pool regulations are to be strictly followed. (See specific regulations for facilities below). A member of FFI staff will be available on-site during your rental period. Their responsibility is limited to having the site clean upon your arrival, keeping washrooms supplied, assisting the group with any questions or concerns they may have, and maintaining the grounds. They will help organize and have supplies ready for site clean up before the group leaves, and to help make possible repairs to damaged camp property if needed. OR A member of FFI staff will be available on-site upon your arrival. They will ensure washrooms and cleaning supplies are fully stocked. As a group, you agree to maintain washroom cleanliness. Please leave the site as you found it.
SITE SUPERVISION. All One-Stop partners will recognize and comply with applicable labor agreements affecting represented employees located in the Centers. Employees who are located at the One-Stop Centers shall remain under the supervision of their employing departments for the purposes of performance evaluation, and other matters concerning civil service rights and responsibilities. If work-related issues arise at the One-Stop Centers between employees and operators or supervisors of other partners, the operator or other supervisor shall refer such issues to the employee’s supervisor. Further, the One-Stop partner recognizes that a number of practices and philosophies related to agency practices, as well as day-to-day One-Stop Career Center site supervision, are negotiated as a result of implementing operations. Local factors among the One-Stop partner’s organization include: • Differing pay scales for similar positions • Functions for similar classifications among agencies, which may differ • Off-site supervisors vs. site-based supervisors at the Worknet Employment Resource Center • Union vs. Non-Union employees in similar classification on site • Hours of operation, including possible evening and weekend hours • Varied legal holidays schedules • Sharing of space, equipment, information, and materials • Employee safety and security of the workplace The One-Stop partners agrees to work out in advance (and specify in relevant agreements) arrangements for supervision, addressing at a minimum the above issues, and modifying said practices over time in accordance with new or changing business or agency needs and requirements.
SITE SUPERVISION. Licensee shall provide a staff member at the Parkway Station during the Event to oversee bus operations and to provide a customer contact person. The City has no obligation to and will not be providing any on-site assistance for the Event.
SITE SUPERVISION. Prior to the start of the learning activity, the Learning Activity Site will inform the student(s) who will be responsible for their supervision and safety while on site. The supervisor will meet with the student(s) as necessary to facilitate the student(s) learning experience and professional development, provide support and review progress on assignments and activities. The supervisor will communicate as necessary during the semester with the University staff or faculty member who assigned the learning activity.
