Student Supervision. Central Issues as they affect Occasional Teacher Workload
Student Supervision. Nurses may be required, as part of their regular duties, to supervise activities of students in accordance with the current College of Nurses of Ontario Practice Guidelines – Supporting Learners. Nurses will be informed in writing of their responsibilities in relation to these students and will be provided with what the Hospital determines to be appropriate training. Any information that is provided to the Hospital by the educational institution with respect to the skill level of the students will be made available to the nurses recruited to supervise the students. Upon request, the Hospital will review the nurse’s workload with the nurse and the student to facilitate successful completion of the assignment. Where a nurse is assigned nursing student supervision duties, the Hospital will pay the nurse a premium of sixty cents ($0.60) per hour for all hours spent supervising nursing students. This article will not apply to job classifications that are paid above the Registered Nurse Classification rates set out in Article 19.01(a) where the higher rate of pay is, in part, based on nursing student supervision duties.
Student Supervision. Any MBU who volunteers to perform the following extra duties shall be paid as listed below:
1. Loss of planning period $20.00 per period
2. Student supervision outside the normal work day $10.00 per hour
3. Lunch Room Duty $10.00 per hour
4. Bus Duty $10.00 per hour 5. Playground Supervision $10.00 per hour

Nurses will be informed in writing of their responsibilities in relation to these students and will be provided with what the Employer determines to be appropriate training. Any information that is provided to the Employer by the educational institution with respect to the skill level of the students will be made available to the nurses recruited to supervise the students. Upon request, the Employer will review the nurse’s workload with the nurse and the student to facilitate successful completion of the assignment.
Student Supervision. A. School clerical and Food Service personnel shall not be required to teach or administer discipline to children. When students referred for discipline are sent to the office of the school and the principal is out of the building, the principal designee will be notified immediately.
B. An ESP may, within the confines of State law, protect him/herself or other persons.
C. When an ESP and the site administrator have mutually determined that the ESP has been physically assaulted by a student, the ESP will be allowed up to two (2) days leave not charged to the ESP.
D. When an ESP and the site administrator have mutually determined that the ESP is in imminent physical danger through verbal, written or physical assault, the ESP may be allowed up to two (2) days leave not charged to the ESP.
Student Supervision. All school-sponsored activities shall be under teacher supervision, including school-ground activities, before and during school hours, when required. Under no conditions should a student be unsupervised.

Where a nurse is assigned nursing student supervision duties, the Home will pay the nurse a premium of sixty cents ($0.60) per hour for all hours spent supervising nursing students.
Student Supervision. The TEXAS STATE students completing field practicum in the Facility shall be subject to supervision of the Facility’s staff at all times. The supervision will follow the appropriate professional guidelines and jurisdictional regulations established for the social work profession.
Student Supervision. (a) Employees may be required, as part of their regular duties, to supervise activities of students in accordance with the current College of Nurses of Ontario Accountability Standards for RNs and RPNs Working with Students. Employees will be informed in writing of their responsibilities in relation to these students and will be provided with what the Employer determines to be appropriate training. Any information that is provided to the Employer by the educational institution with respect to the skill level of the students will be made available to the employees recruited to supervise the students. Upon request, the Employer will review the employee’s workload with the employee and the student to facilitate successful completion of the assignment. Where an employee is assigned nursing student supervision duties, the Employer will pay the employee a premium of one dollar ($1.00) per hour for all hours spent supervising nursing students. If an alternate compensation arrangement exists, the employee will be paid the greater of the two amounts.
(b) Employees are expected, as part of their regular duties, to provide guidance and advice to members of the health care team.
