Contractor to indemnify the Company / Corporation / Xxxxx. The Contractor shall indemnify and keep indemnified the Company / Corporation / Xxxxx, every number, officer and employees of the Company / Corporation / Xxxxx, also Engineer in charge and his staff against action proceeding claims, demands, costs and expenses whatsoever arising, out of or in connection with the maters referred in above clauses and elsewhere and against all action proceeding claims, demands, costs and expenses which may be made against Company / Corporation / Xxxxx by any workmen / employees of the Contractor or any sub-Contractor and / or Contractor from any liability and wise any xxxxxxx employees of the Contractor or sub-Contractor under any Laws, Rules or Regulation having the force of low including but not limited to claims against the Owner Workmen Compensation Act 1923 and its amendment from time to time. The Employees’ Provident Fund Act, 1952 and / or the Contract Labour (Abolition and Regulation) Act. 1970 the Company / Corporation / Xxxxx shall not be liable for in respect of or in consequence of any accident or injury to xxxxxxx of other person in the employment of the Contractor or his sub-contractor and the Contractor shall identify xxxxxxx in the Company / Corporation / Xxxxx against all such damage and compensation and against all claims, demands, proceeding costs, charges and expenses what so ever in respect thereof or in relation there to.
