Contractors/Consultants. The Grantee, and the agents and employees of Grantee, in the performance of this Agreement, are not officers, employees, or agents of the CDA. The Grantee's obligation to pay its Contractors/Consultants is an independent obligation from the CDA's obligation to make payments to the Grantee. Xxxxxxx agrees to comply with all applicable State and local laws and regulations during the term of this Agreement. All Contractors/Consultants shall have the proper licenses/certificates required in their respective disciplines. The Contractors/Consultants shall not affect the Grantee’s overall responsibility for the management of the project, and the Grantee shall reserve sufficient rights and control to enable it to fulfill its responsibilities under this Agreement.
