Contractor’s Responsibility for Safety. The Contractor shall be responsible for initiating, maintaining and supervising all safety precautions and programs in connection with the Work. This requirement will apply continuously twenty-four (24) hours a day every day until final acceptance of the Work and shall not be limited to normal working hours. The duties of RMWD, Engineer and Inspector do not include review of the adequacy of the Contractor’s safety measures in, on, or about the site and vicinity.
