Common use of Contractor’s Warranties and Guaranties Clause in Contracts

Contractor’s Warranties and Guaranties. Lessor shall assign to County (on a non-exclusive basis) all warranties and guaranties by the Contractor who constructs the Work (the “Contractor”) relating to the Work and pursuant to said assignment, County hereby waives all claims against Lessor relating to, or arising out of the construction of, the Work. Lessor shall independently retain Contractor, on behalf of County, to construct the Work in accordance with the Approved Working Drawings and Lessor shall supervise the construction by Contractor.
