CONTRACTUAL PREREQUISITES Clause Samples

The "Contractual Prerequisites" clause defines specific conditions or requirements that must be satisfied before certain rights, obligations, or actions under the contract become effective. Typically, this clause outlines steps such as obtaining necessary approvals, providing documentation, or completing preliminary tasks before a party is obligated to perform. For example, a party may need to secure regulatory permits or deliver proof of insurance before work can commence. The core function of this clause is to ensure that all necessary groundwork is completed and risks are minimized before contractual duties are triggered, thereby protecting both parties from premature or unprepared performance.
