Contractual Return to Service Obligation. A unit member accepting sabbatical leave shall enter into a separate, written contract whereby he/she agrees to return to service with the Board for at least the two-year period. Such a contract shall include a secured promissory note, or surety bond, for the amount of compensation (salary and fringe benefits) to be paid during the term of the leave.
