CONTRAVENTION OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT. 23.01 The Public Service Act establishes procedures for collective bargaining and the settlement of grievances. Disciplinary action may be taken, which will include penalties up to and including discharge, for participation in arrangements contrary to the Public Service Act for conducting grievances, disputes and collective bargaining.
