Controlled Substances and Illegal Drugs. An employee shall not unlawfully manufacture, distribute, dispense, possess, or use a controlled substance or purchase, transfer, use, or possess any illegal drugs or prescription drugs that are illegal, either at the workplace or any other location. A controlled substance includes any drug listed in Section 812, Title 21 U.S. Code and federal regulations adopted pursuant to federal law. This prohibition shall be read in conjunction with the requirements and guidance of OJC Reg. 15 (Controlled Substances). The Court shall notify any federal agency from which it has received a grant when an employee has been convicted of a violation of any state or federal criminal drug statute. The notice shall be provided within ten days after receiving notice from the employee of the conviction or after receiving other actual notice of the conviction.
