Common use of Coordination of Work of Subcontractors Clause in Contracts

Coordination of Work of Subcontractors. All Work provided by Subcontractors must be coordinated by Contractor so that all such Work is complete, properly coordinated, and in compliance with the Contract Documents. All Work which is incomplete or fails to comply with the Contract Documents shall be removed and/or corrected by Contractor at no additional cost to Owner. If Contractor fails to commence correction of the Work promptly, but in no event later than five (5) days after written notice from Owner, or fails to complete the correction of the Work with due diligence, Owner reserves the right to correct the Work with its own forces or separate contractors and to deduct the cost of such correction from the Contract Sum.
