Common use of Copyright in Distance Education Courses Clause in Contracts

Copyright in Distance Education Courses. (a) The Member shall grant to the Employer non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable, indivisible, and non-transferable licence to use solely for the Employer's internal use, distance education courses created by the Member. Such licence shall not include the right to transfer or exploit the distance education courses, in whole or in part. The distance education course materials shall be used by the Employer solely for the purpose of delivering the course for which they were designed.
