Common use of Corrective Action Plan in the Event of Suspension Clause in Contracts

Corrective Action Plan in the Event of Suspension. In the event that the Department chooses, in its sole and absolute discretion to direct the Grantee to suspend entering into new or further written obligations with third parties pursuant to Article VI(A), the Department may, but is not obligated to, require the Grantee to develop and implement a written corrective action plan to remedy the grounds for the Suspension. Such corrective action plan must be approved by the Department and be signed by the Grantee. Failure to sign a corrective action plan or meet the terms and deadlines set forth in the signed corrective action plan, is hereby deemed a violation of the terms of this Agreement for purposes of Early Termination, Article V(A)(iii). The corrective action plan is in addition to, and not in lieu of, any other equitable or legal remedy, including but not limited to Early Termination.
