Common use of Costs of Study Clause in Contracts

Costs of Study. The Parties agree that: (a) Merck shall provide the Merck Compound for use in the Study, as described in Article 8 below; (b) each Party will be responsible for its own internal costs and expenses to support the Study and the costs of any Sample Testing conducted by such Party in connection with the Study; and (c) Company shall bear all other costs associated with the conduct of the Study, including that Company shall provide the Company Compound for use in the Study, as described in Article 8 below. For the avoidance of doubt, Company will not be required to reimburse Merck for any costs or expenses incurred by Merck or its Affiliates in connection with the Study (except as provided in Section 6.11) and Merck will not be required to reimburse Company for any costs or expenses incurred by Company or its Affiliates in connection with the Study (except as provided in Section 6.11).

The Parties agree that: (a) Merck Company shall provide the Merck Company Compound for use in the Study, as described in Article 8 below; (b) each Party will be responsible for its own internal costs and expenses to support its obligations hereunder with respect to the Study and the costs of any Sample Testing conducted by such Party in connection with the Study; and (c) Company Merck shall bear all other costs associated with the conduct of the Study, including that Company Merck shall provide the Company Merck Compound for use in the Study, as described in Article 8 below. For the avoidance of doubt, Merck will not be required to reimburse Company for any costs or expenses incurred by Company or its Affiliates in connection with the Study (except as provided in Section 6.11) and Company will not be required to reimburse Merck for any costs or expenses incurred by Merck or its Affiliates in connection with the Study (except as provided in Section 6.11) and Merck will not be required to reimburse Company for any costs or expenses incurred by Company or its Affiliates in connection with the Study (except as provided in Section 6.11).
