Study Sample Clauses

Study. You undertake to pursue satisfactorily such studies as are required of you by any tutor, fellow or lecturer, or other qualified person, assigned by the College (or University as the case may be) to teach you. For this purpose, studies include the reading of materials, carrying out prescribed activities such as practicals, the completion of written work, attendance in tutorials and classes and lectures, and the sitting of University and internal College examinations.

Study. An application for leave of absence for professional study must be supported by a written statement indicating what study or research is to be undertaken, or, if applicable, what subjects are to be studied and at what institutions.

Study. Resolution of issues surrounding Keno facility are an important part of achieving the overall goals of this Settlement. Accordingly, the Secretary, in consultation with affected Parties, shall study issues specific to the Keno facility, with specific focus on addressing water quality, fish passage, transfer of title to the Keno facility from PacifiCorp to Interior, future operations and maintenance, and landowner agreements. The study of the Keno facility will be designed with the goals of addressing these issues and maintaining the benefits the dam currently provides.

Study. A nonprobationary employee may be granted a leave of absence without pay for up to one year of legitimate study as approved by the Superintendent. An employee on such leave cannot be assured of reassignment to the same site as previously assigned, but the Board obligates itself to offer the employee, on the expiration of the leave, employment for which the employee is properly qualified, if a vacancy exists, without creating a new position or transferring an existing employee.

Study. The Secretary of Agriculture shall conduct a study on forward contracting between milk producers and cooperatives and milk handlers to determine the impact on milk prices paid to producers in the U nited States. To obtain information for the study, the Secretary may use the authorities available to the Secretary under section 608d of this title, subject to the confidentiality requirements of subsection (2) of such section.

Study trips 1. A study trip is a trip made by the employee at the request or on the instructions of the employer. The employee is entitled to a compensation for the costs of transport, the meals, and the overnight stay(s). 2. The employer will only pay those hours (without overtime pay) the employee would have worked if he had not been on a study trip. 3. After the trip, a minimum daily rest of 11 hours applies before the employee goes back to work.

Study. A leave of absence of up to one (1) year may be granted to any Member with three (3) years of accredited college or university or for a retraining session with industry, reasonably related to their professional responsibilities to the Lapeer County Intermediate School District. Upon return from such leave, a Member shall be placed at the same position on the salary schedule as they would have been had they taught in the District during such period. Notice of intent to return must be submitted at least seventy (70) days prior to the end of the regular school year. To be eligible to apply for such leave of absence, a Member shall not have taken such leave within five (5) years of next preceding application.

Study. A clinical trial performed at one or more investigative sites under the supervision of one or more Investigator(s) pursuant to a study protocol.
