COUNTING DBE PARTICIPATION TOWARD DBE CONTRACT GOALS. DBE participation shall be counted toward meeting the DBE contract goals pursuant to this contract as follows: (1) A contractor may count toward its DBE contract goals the total dollar value of a contract paid to an eligible DBE, including an approved DBE protégé.
