COUNTY EMPLOYEES. No Arlington County employee may share in any part of this Contract or receive any benefit from the Contract that is not available to the general public.
COUNTY EMPLOYEES. A. The Contract Deputy(ies) performing duties under this Agreement shall at all times remain a county employee subject to the same rights and responsibilities as the Law Enforcement Official’s other deputies.
B. The County agrees that the Contract Deputy(ies) shall perform the services described herein in accordance with the appropriate Fort Bend County policies and the policies and procedures of the Law Enforcement Official’s Office; provided, however, that, while Fort Bend County shall be responsible for the acts and omissions of its employees, such responsibility shall be subject to the terms, provisions and limitations of the Constitution and of the laws of the State of Texas and, particularly, TEX. CIV. PRAC. & REM. §101.001, et. seq., the Texas Tort Claims Act. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THIS AGREEMENT OR ANY SERVICES PROVIDED BY COUNTY OR THE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIAL TO THE DISTRICT, AND COUNTY AND THE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIAL EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY SUCH WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS.
C. The Law Enforcement Official retains sole and independent authority regarding the hiring, supervision, discipline, and termination of the Contract Deputy(ies).
COUNTY EMPLOYEES. Contractor shall not hire any County employee to perform any of the services covered by this Agreement without written authorization from the County.
COUNTY EMPLOYEES. No employee of Arlington County, Virginia, shall be admitted to any share in any part of this Contract or to any benefit that may arise therefrom which is not available to the general public.

COUNTY EMPLOYEES. All current Cumberland employees in good standing will have the opportunity to apply and interview for available positions at the Landfill. Cumberland County employees in good standing shall be given preference for positions for which they have applied and are qualified.

COUNTY EMPLOYEES. All employees of County shall, at Republic's option, become employees of Republic on the Effective Date. All employees of County who become employees of Republic on the Effective Date shall be entitled, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to participate in all benefit plans of Republic to the same extent as Republic's employees, except as stated otherwise in this Section 6.10. Employees of County on the Effective Date shall be allowed to participate as of the Effective Date in the medical and dental benefit plans of Republic, and the time of employment of such employees who are employed at least 30 hours per week with County, as of the Effective Date, shall be counted as employment with Republic under such dental and medical plans of Republic for purposes of calculating any waiting period and preexisting condition limitations. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the period of service with County of all employees to become employees of Republic on the Effective Date shall be recognized only for vesting and eligibility purposes under RSFC's and Republic's current benefit plans, but not for the determination of the amount of benefits (provided, however, that the period of service with County of each such employee shall be recognized for purposes of determining the amount of annual paid vacation time to which the employee is entitled). To the extent that Republic's benefit plans will not, after the Effective Date, recognize the County employees' accrued but unused paid vacation, personal leave or sick leave time, the County employees will be entitled to receive, on or prior to the Effective Date, cash payments, at their respective compensation rates, for such accrued but unused time.
COUNTY EMPLOYEES. No employee of Goochland County, Virginia shall be admitted to any share or part of this Contract or to any benefit that may arise therefrom which is not available to the general public.
COUNTY EMPLOYEES. The County Judge shall select job candidates to be submitted to Fiscal Court for approval. Fiscal Court shall approve all salaries or appropriate salary schedules.
