Common use of County Ownership of Project Documents Clause in Contracts

County Ownership of Project Documents. All work products (electronically or manually generated) including but not limited to: cost estimates, studies, design analyses, original mylar drawings, Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) file, and other related documents which are prepared specifically in the performance of this Contract (collectively referred to as Project Documents) are to be and remain the property of the Owner and are to be delivered to the Project Manager before the final payment is made to the XXXX. Nonetheless, in the event these Projects Documents are altered, modified or adapted without the written consent of the XXXX, which consent the XXXX will not unreasonably withhold, the Owner agrees to hold the XXXX harmless to the extent permitted by law, from the legal liability arising out of and or resulting from the Owner’s alteration, modification or adaptation of the Project Documents.
