Options within the Layoff Unit A. Employees will be laid off in accordance with seniority, as defined in Article 39, Seniority. The Employer will determine if the employee possesses the required skills and abilities for the position and the comparability of the position. GEOGRAPHIC SCOPE OF THE AGREEMENT 4.1 The geographic scope of this Agreement is the trade between ports in North Asia, South Asia, Middle East (including the Arabian Gulf and Red Sea Regions), Northern Europe, Mediterranean, Adriatic, and Black Sea, Egypt, Panama, Mexico, Canada, Central America and the Caribbean on the one hand, and ports on the East, Gulf, and West Coasts of the United States, by any route including via the Panama and Suez Canals or the Cape of Good Hope, on the other, as well as ports and points served via such U.S. and foreign ports (the “Trade”). The specific countries/regions that are within the geographic scope of this Agreement are listed in Appendix A hereto. There shall be no geographic restrictions on the origin or destination of cargo carried on vessels employed in the services established pursuant to this Agreement. In other words, such cargo may originate from or be destined for ports or points outside the geographic scope of this Agreement. The inclusion of any non U.S. trades in this Agreement shall not bring such non U.S. trades under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission or entitle the Parties hereto to immunity from the U.S. antitrust laws with respect to such non U.S. trades.
The City of Milwaukee, by its Milwaukee Board of School Directors, shall pay the Contractor for the full and complete performance of the work, the sum of Three Hundred Sixty Five Thousand Five Hundred Dollars and 00/100 ($365,500.00) as provided in the General Conditions of the Contract.
WORK STOPPAGES, SECONDARY BOYCOTTS, AND JURISDICTIONAL DISPUTES 16.1 There will be during the term of this Agreement and as to any work covered hereby, no slowdown, no stoppage of work, no strike and no lockout, it being the good faith and intention of the parties hereto that by the execution of this Agreement, industrial peace shall be brought about and maintained, that the parties shall cooperate to the end that work may be done efficiently and without interruption. In the case of any violation of this Agreement the Employer and the Union shall be notified immediately.
GEOGRAPHIC AREA AND SECTOR SPECIFIC ALLOWANCES, CONDITIONS AND EXCEPTIONS The following allowances and conditions shall apply where relevant: Where the company does work which falls under the following headings, the company agrees to pay and observe the relevant respective conditions and/or exceptions set out below in each case.
Completion of Concrete Pours and Emergency Work 24.14.1 Except as provided in this sub-clause an employee shall not work or be required to work in the rain.
Events Beyond Our Control If an Event Beyond Our Control occurs and prevents Us from performing any of Our obligations under this Contract to any extent, then We are not required to perform that obligation to the extent and for as long as We are prevented by that Event Beyond Our Control. If such an Event Beyond Our Control occurs and We consider it appropriate to do so, We may notify You of the Event Beyond Our Control by any reasonable means, including by a public announcement.
THE COURT’S FINAL APPROVAL HEARING The Court will hold a hearing to decide whether to approve the settlement. You may attend and you may ask to speak, but you don’t have to.

Xxxxx strongly encourages Seller to adopt and enforce concepts similar to those embodied in the Boeing Code, including conducting Seller’s operations in a manner that is fully compliant with all applicable laws and regulations pertaining to fair wages and treatment, freedom of association, personal privacy, collective bargaining, workplace safety and environmental protection. Seller shall include the substance of this clause, including this flowdown requirement, in all subcontracts awarded by Seller for work under this Contract.
